Meet Jeanne Devine
Hello traveler!

My name is Jeanne Devine and I’ve been planning trips and traveling since I learned how to read a map at age 10.

My Dad handed me a TripTik from AAA for our upcoming family vacation from Michigan to California and put me in charge of navigation. I was amazed to see I could follow our driving route, and even decide which sights to see along the way. My passion was reinforced by Mom when she started taking my sister and me out to Detroit Metro Airport to visit with Dad during his lunch break. He was working a second job for an airplane food catering company, and while we ate, we watched planes take off or land and guessed where they might be going.
In 1977, after my junior year in college, I arranged an internship at a bank in Bordeaux, France. My first overseas trip! I flew to Paris, France to sightsee with a group for 2 weeks, then took the train south to Bordeaux. For 8 weeks, I worked and became fluent in French. I took advantage of a bank holiday and hopped over to Geneva, Switzerland for a long weekend.
Next stops: London, England; Cologne, Germany; and Tokyo, Japan while working as a reservation agent for a major airline. I took full advantage of those travel benefits!! Add in some Caribbean islands (St. Maarten, Grand Cayman, Antigua, Aruba, Guadeloupe), Italy after law school graduation, and my wanderlust was cemented.
I am focusing my consulting skills on recent retirees who would like to travel independently. Go at your own pace! Instead of joining up with a tour group, I can help you decide where to go, when to go, what to pack, and what to do when you get there! I particularly love finding great deals for luxury travel. Personally, I have voyaged to all 50 United States and 85 countries so I can provide lots of first-hand experience. I often travel by myself, and will gladly provide advice to guide solo’s toward a safe and enjoyable vacation. Let me help you see the world!
